It’s almost one month to the day of which I aim to be starting my six-day trek along the South Downs Way National Trail. I’m looking forward to the experience, even though I’ve only very recently sat down to plan my daily routes and the itinerary, with regards to camping along the way.

Following a two-month absence from the trail, I returned to my walk along the Severn Way long-distance footpath, which I’ll be following as far north as Tewkesbury.
This walk would begin at Frampton-on-Severn in Gloucestershire, which isn’t precisely where the previous walk ended but, reasonable car parks are hard to find, as someone who doesn’t know the area overly well. I can fill in the brief void of towpath another time.
Saturday 2nd December 2017
In my previous post, I signalled an intention for 2018; to walk more of the Severn Way long-distance footpath.
This is a walk from early December, when I first put that plan in to practice. In this post, I’ll share the route along the Way. In a future post, I’ll show you my return route to complete the circuit to my car.
