Going in to November, there was a chance that I would be able to break the one-thousand mile mark before the arrival of 2018’s final month… With an amount of time on my hands and a long-weekend trip to Dartmoor due, this opportunity was very strong indeed.
Here were are in November. Where did October go? At what point did we skip the joy of autumn and tumble in to the depths of winter so prematurely?!
Summer is officially over and, with a definite chill added to each morning and evening, it’s certain to say that autumn has arrived. Daylight hours are slowly diminishing and it seems as though the end of another year is nigh.
I doubt many of us can believe that August has come and gone. Two-thirds of the way through 2018 and we’ll soon be waving goodbye to the summer, before we’re ready for it.

I’m a few days late in writing this month and mainly because I’ve been quite busy over the weekend and busy before that, in keeping up with other blog posts.
Six-months of the year; gone and never to be reclaimed or repeated. Six-months to go. A half-year of opportunity.
Another month has passed and it feels like summer has arrived. We didn’t see an awful lot of spring this year but a mutual sigh of relief could be herd at the belated passing of winter.
